Fraser Paint Out
RSVP to Marie!
MARIE JOHANNES
20689 COUNTY ROAD 50 FRASER, CO 80442
970-726-4698
Marie's cell: 970-531-2906

Directions: Take I-70 WEST to exit 232 (Empire) Hwy 40 to Winter Park. CONTINUE on Hwy 40 through Winter Park to FRASER. My house is four+ miles from the stoplight in Fraser

At the light in Fraser, TURN LEFT on to CR 72. Go under the railroad bridge. Stay on this road, keeping to the right. This is a big arc through the meadow and will come to a dead end. TURN LEFT on CR 73.

Go up a hill and look for a yellow "T" (on its side) sign, indicating a right turn ahead. Take that RIGHT TURN. This is CR 50-S and it will become CR 50 in about a mile.

You will come to a soft corner with Trail Blazer Snowmobile Tours on your left. CR 50-S becomes CR 50 at this point. Continue on CR 50 another two miles.

You will see the "Moose Run" development on your left and signs for High Mountain Lodge and Timberline Lodge on your right. Then you will see a gated drive on your left and our property starts just past that drive. The road continues to up a slight hill; then it will curve to the left and the hill will continue. Our driveway is ahead on the left and before the road turns to the right. Red ribbons on a couple of trees on the left indicate our place. There is a small sign with our name and address (20689 County Rd 50) nailed to a tree on the left side of the drive.

There is room for several cars to park halfway up our drive and to the right. I'll have that marked with signs. Try to conserve the space so as many cars can park as possible. After you get out and look around, some may want to drive back down the hill and park on the curve of the road near the willows and paint from that area.

Bring a sack lunch. I'll have a big orange thermos with water and iced tea and lemonade…coffee? Bathrooms in the house will be accessible.
