South Valley (SW)

There is a beautiful cliff face on the East side of the main trail that would be great to paint with afternoon sun.

From the metro area, travel south on C-470 and exit westbound on Ken Caryl Avenue. Turn left onto South Valley Road to the park's north parking area. Alternately, from Wadsworth south of C-470 take Deer Creek Canyon Road west past the south parking area of the park to the road for the Lockheed Martin plant. Turn right (I think there is a light there) and then turn right again on South Valley Road and park at the north parking area.
